NCHBA is proud to introduce the Carolina Builders Conference, a new event where the region's home building industry will come together to lead, learn, and celebrate.
Join us August 31-September 2 at the Hilton Charlotte University Place for three key experiences:
- Leadership Conference on September 1 features can't-miss events like a Housing Forecast Breakfast, lunch keynote with former hostage negotiator Scott Tillema, leadership-focused breakout sessions, and an evening Toolbelt Social with beer, bites, and builder networking. Events not sold separately.
- Education Conference on September 1 & 2 features NC Builder Institute classes, all of which are accredited by the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors for continuing education (CE) credit.
- The STARS Awards Gala returns on August 31 and celebrates excellence in North Carolina’s home building industry.

Education Conference
September 1 & 2
The NC Builder Institute will host 18 classes approved by the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors. Need to hit your 8-hour CE requirement? You can complete it in just one day at the Carolina Builders Conference. Register for classes through the NC Builder Institute website.
Leadership Conference
September 1 - all day
Kick off the day with the Housing Forecast Breakfast (8 am - 9:30 am) presented by NAHB Chief Economist Rob Dietz. Then, get valuable leadership insights from morning and afternoon breakout sessions. At lunch, hear from former hostage negotiator Scott Tillema (11:30 am - 1 pm). Cap the day off by enjoying beer, bites and builder networking during the Toolbelt Social (4:15 pm - 6 pm).

STARS Awards Gala
August 31
Celebrate excellence in North Carolina's building industry on Monday, August 31 at the STARS Awards Gala.
Reception: 6:30 pm
Dinner & Awards: 7:30 pm
