Builders Council
(Building Contractors Only)
Organizes Builder (building) roundtables, lunch and learn, and educational events for Building and Contractor members.
Tackles issues confronting building industry.
Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council
(Membership Required)
Organizes and coordinates meetings and community, industry and charitable events. Acts as an auxiliary to the Association.
Promotes Woman in industry awareness.
Government Affairs
Represents the membership and keeps the membership abreast of State, County and local issues confronting building and the community.
NC Build PAC
Coordinates annual NC Build Pac fundraising initiatives.
Membership
Organizes and coordinates membership recruitment campaigns and retention initiatives. Coordinates new member orientation and motivation
to be involved, volunteer and consider Board positions.
Membership Events
Organize and coordinate at least one full membership event per year.
Workforce and Student Development
Outreach and coordination with ABSS, ACC and other community programs that enhance workforce development, industry education and internships.
Organize and oversee school builds.
Community Service
Recommends charitable organizations for the Association to align itself with. Recommends and organizes charitable events for the organization(s)
we are aligned with including the Christmas Open House.
Building - Associate Expo
Organize and coordinate the yearly Building – Associate Expo.
Parade of Homes (POH)
Organizes and conducts the Parade of Homes and associated events. Includes POH Building Contractor recruitment,
marketing, judging, awards banquet.
Spring Golf Tournament
Organize and coordinate the yearly Builders Classic Spring Golf Tournament.
Reverse Raffle
Organize and coordinate the yearly Reverse Raffle fund raising event.Sporting Clay Tournament
Organize and coordinate the yearly Sporting Clay Tournament.
Fund Raising Event Task Force
Makes recommendations for every third year Major Fund-Raising Event.
